Specifications |
"Caliente" is in truly bristol condition needing nothing
to prepare her for short fishing trips or extended cruising. All
surfaces are clean and waxed, electronics have been updated as
technology moves forward and she has all the required equipment
for serious tournament fishing. Her foredeck is surrounded by
stainless steel rails for safety, she has a bow pulpit forward
with ground tackle, and an anchor windlass for retrieval. On port
on the foredeck is a new electric davit for the small boat. The
cockpit is on two levels. The lower level has a teak deck, teak
cover boards, and a fighting chair. Forward on the lower level is
a tackle center and below the deck are two freezers with cold
plates. "Caliente" has outriggers and numerous rod holders. Also
below the cockpit decks is a new Sea Recovery water maker. The
upper cockpit deck has a large fishing rod locker on port and a
day head on starboard. In the center is a Jenair stove with grill,
a sink, and an under counter refrigerator/freezer. On starboard is
a backdown station complete with a joy stick. The vessel has four
stations, the cockpit, two on the bridge, and one on the tuna
tower. A major re-fit was done in 2002 and 2003 including engine
work, ACs and boards, new water maker, and many others. She has
won many awards in fishing tournaments, she has been featured in
many magazines, and she has cruised both northern and southern
hemispheres.
