How Can You Help?

Seafaring has always been a passion of mankind. For centuries, the ocean has fueled our sense of adventure and taught us valuable lessons about survival and our connection to the environment. That premise - learning about ourselves through seafaring pursuits - is what the American Institute Of Marine Studies (AIMS) is all about. Founded over two decades ago, our mission is to enrich the lives of troubled teens, people with disabilities and others looking for direction in their lives.

Making a Splash In The Public Schools

AIMS is bridging the gap between local schools and the marine environment. That's because we work with alternative and community schools to provide all types of hands-on marine activities as well as educational and financial assistance. Our contributions are wide-ranging and depend on specific needs as determined on a school-by school-basis.
