How Can You Help?

Seafaring has always been a passion of mankind. For centuries, the ocean has fueled our sense of adventure and taught us valuable lessons about survival and our connection to the environment. That premise - learning about ourselves through seafaring pursuits - is what the American Institute Of Marine Studies (AIMS) is all about. Founded over two decades ago, our mission is to enrich the lives of troubled teens, people with disabilities and others looking for direction in their lives.

Classroom Instruction & Field Support
AIMS has certified teachers who can:

Serves as additional staff with local school districts

Provides support to involved community members

Teach boating safety, navigation, and environmental
courses to students and staff

Give meaning to history, math, science and literature
through hands on environmental and marine education

Help students finish high school and become
responsible citizens
